Supplements for Cattle with Colic

Colic in Domestic animals can be an emergency situation and must be treated quickly to save severely affected individuals.

We recommend the use of EPIC II CL® when dealing with Colic. Once the animal is restored to health however, we recommend Karbo Combo® be given daily at the listed maintainance level.

Epic II CL® works by dilating many of the blood vessels in the bowel, increases peristalsis (Peristalsis is the rhythmic contraction of smooth muscles to propel contents through the digestive tract), ties up harmful bacterial reactions and by the binding and detoxifying the many toxins (including ammonia)in the animal.

Keep in mind the object is not to sedate the bowel or animal, but to increase peristalsis and move the offending material our of the bowel and also tie up toxins that can produce severe health and life threatening situations.
